When I Die: Lessons from the Death Zone

Gems

Philip Gould, Baron Gould of Brookwood (30 March 1950 – 6 November 2011) was a British political consultant and former advertising executive, closely linked to the Labour Party.

Diagnosed with oesophageal cancer which recurred three times after treatments and being told he only had a few more months to live, he courageously faced the unshakable fact about his upcoming death and set out to find meaning and purpose in what he called, ‘The Death Zone’. This powerful and moving film is a deep revelation to all people alive and in particular also an inspiration for terminally ill people.

A book of the same title has been published in the UK posthumously by Little Brown.
