"Remember the difference between ordinary love affairs and the great love affair. The great love affair is qualitatively different from what you call love affairs. Your love affairs are just soap bubbles. One day you are in deep love and another day - or perhaps the same day - the soap bubble is gone and with it your love affair too. It is momentary.
The great love affair is really not with the master, but with the universe through the master. The master is at the most only a window through which you can see the whole sky with all its stars.
You don't fall in love with the window frame."
