The Wall Street Journal even coined the term Oprahfication – meaning public confession as a form of therapy – which made Oprah’s most watched daily TV talk show such a huge success for decades and blasted through many social and cultural barriers such as gay and lesbian issues. She is a powerful role model for women, and black American women in particular.
