Lady Gaga mentions Osho in a press conference in Delhi today before her first concert there

Update Oct 28/30, 2011

During a press conference in India where, with shades, a number of small blonde buns on her head, a ladylike dress and jewelry, Lady Gaga talks about how India influences her music and her clothes, and mentions Osho at great length: “I read a lot of Osho’s books. I believe Rebellion (The Rebel ?) was my favourite so far. I have been reading a lot about rebellion, how creativity is the greatest form of rebellion in life. It is important to stand up for what we believe in and to fight for equality. Equality is the most important thing in my life, social equality, political equality, economic equality. These are all things that I fight for in my country as a citizen. I read Osho not only because I love his work, what he writes about, but I am also – I guess – an Indian hippie.”

Gaga is in Delhi and will perform on Sunday, on the occasion of India’s first ever Grand Prix.

Gaga mentions Osho at around 10 min, i.e. at the end of the video above. You can see this video on NDTV as well which shows her full answer about Osho at 8.29 min.
