The realm of flora is a delicate sensuous one that is a reflection of the amazing diversity and passion of life. The fragrance of love is everywhere to be found within the profusion of flowers where colours, shapes and sizes are rich and abundant in variety.

I love to capture macro images of this expression of life that enthrals my senses and arouses my passion for living. I easily become meditatively lost within the sensation of feeling into these pleasurable moments composing an image.

Sometimes a breeze waves a flower back and forth and I patiently wait for it to settle or use a faster shutter speed to stop the motion.

Then comes the excitement of seeing the image on my computer and I tinker with processing the raw file that I prefer to use. Adjusting the various colour correction settings in Adobe Lightroom until my eye is pleased, the photograph comes alive, pleasuring my senses.

The final step is one that I enjoy as much as taking the photo.
