For Osho’s Birthday a full 5-day celebration will take place at Oshodham in New Delhi. Facilitators from 7–11 December are Ma Dharm Jyoti and Swami Chaitanya Keerti with traditional festivities held on 11th December. From 12–14 December, Osho Dancing Buddhas with Swami Amit Saraswati and Ma Prem Devyani continue the celebrations – oshoworld.com
Osho’s Birthday Celebration at Osho Nisarga in Dharamshala (facilitated by Swami Deva Naman) will be on 8–12 December – oshonisarga.com
From Rabiya and Paras in Switzerland, and from Ageh Bharti, we hear that a free-of-charge Osho Celebration is planned in Jabalpur for 11-13 December, to be held in the Tarang Auditorium. Ma Purnima from Bhopal, who has initiated the festivities, will organize it together with the regional Government of Madhya Pradesh’ Adhyatma (Spirituality Department) that will bear all expenses (also for foreigners). Apparently hotels have been booked for 500 people.
Osho lived for many years in Jabalpur, studied at the university and became enlightened under a Maulshree Tree in Bhawal Thal Park on 21st March 1953. In 1960 he was appointed Professor of Philosophy at the University of Jabalpur, where he taught for ten years.
