How much of what we see is real?

Finger silencing dog bark

What has the mind done to our poor fingers? It has given them meanings – both singular and in combination with one another! There are many names, meanings and usages for the different ones! And, they are purely made-up! Oh, how we can be affected by them – especially the middle finger!

When you step back and experience what the mind has created, and how we’ve been conditioned by it, you may decide that the whole thing is ridiculous! Fortunately, it hasn’t happened to our toes… at least, not yet!

This simple exploration can open up myriad things that we do and use each day, that are based solely on the imagination – and projected into our reality as something concrete, real.

Which begins to show us “cracks” in what the mind decides is “real!”

And that raises the question: How much of what we see out there that we call “reality” is real, and how much of it is just projections from the mind?
