A poem (with its illustration) by Rashid.

No Boundaries
for you my daughters
Arabella Beatrice Melita
The recently invented
universe
(fourteen billion years with Mr Einstein’s recent marriage to the quantum guys)
revolves around
itself
now here’s the thing
you are
the universe
in microcosm
each humming molecule
dancing to the
measure of
unsayable immensity
you are the centre
and periphery
you call the tune
you are the tune
no boundaries
(despite what I keep saying about laying firm your lines of demarcation)
so why not dance
the wild expansion
of the galaxies
the radiance of supernova
the delicate delight of
shy red dwarfs
riding through our
brilliant blood
let’s dance
