Nishanto

Nishanto (Klaus Nowack) was born in Stettin (now Szczecin and part of Poland), in the middle of WWII. When the time came to flee, his mother took him and his brother to Schleswig-Holstein, from where they then travelled south and settled in Cologne.

In the 1960s Nishanto completed his A-levels and later completed his Philosophy and German Literature studies in order to teach German language. In the 1990s, he joined Osho. He loved his meditations, for which he regularly prepared the halls before the meditations together with friends. He had a typical Cologne sense of humour and liked to poke fun at himself.

During his departure phase, he was accompanied by many loved ones and joined in his birthday song after many days of silence.

In June, friends said goodbye to him in an evening meditation.
