Mood of the Moment

A March bulging with astrological influences. The undercurrent of the entire month is marked by Chiron, the so-called ‘wounded healer’. Chiron is the symbol of the humble acceptance of life’s imperfection:

Acting in a beneficial direction: Yes
Fight and wage war against the inevitable: No.

This motto brings the positive potential of the times to the point. Also Mars, now entering into Sagittarius, is committed to a better world – even though over the next five months he has yet to learn humility. The first half of March is particularly Neptunian, presenting itself therefore from friendly-relaxed to confusing-chaotic. Towards the middle of the month two powerful and soothing trigones form: Jupiter-Pluto and Saturn-Uranus. They put us in a position to extract the best from even the messiest situations. The motivation to vigorously do good and useful things while remaining down to earth and at the same time experimenting with unusual possibilities, promises constructive steps in a new direction. Incidentally, the Saturn-Uranus trine will run at full force only by 2017. So some changes will only then have a chance of reliable achievement.

In the last third of March skeptics will increasingly pipe up – it is their job to force the confident ones to liberate their optimism of any naivety – a process that will continue at least until June.

AriesAries: It is all about a new attitude during the first half of March, and a different approach to your relationships. Feel unrestricted and also grant space to others. The theme of the second half of the month is the balance between old and new, between earthiness and new beginnings, between realism and idealism. In the last third of March, Mercury comes to your aid. Use your mind, learn something new and above all think about whether your goals are realistic. Ask yourself specifically if that what you seek is really right for you.

TaurusTaurus: The first half of the month requires flexibility and openness to new ideas, but is very inspiring. The second half of March requires trust, letting go and surrender to something superior or more consequential. The last third of the month involves a reorganisation that assigns a place to the superior, more consequential. Both the sober view of Saturn as well as the sweeping positivity of Jupiter are required. Accept existing hurdles and operate from the depths of your compassionate heart.

GeminiGemini: With the necessary inspiration, already in early March you can initiate something new. The last third of March is even more suitable as inventiveness joins with power, realism and the joy of regeneration. In the first half of the month some tensions gather and you tend to quarrel with yourself, others, or even with life itself. A good solution is possible but requires that you rise above personal likes and dislikes, viewing the situation ‘from above’.

CancerCancer: With the New Moon and eclipse a new delicate plant begins to sprout; at first you will hardly perceive it but it will grow amazingly fast. The middle of the month is particularly rich in experiences or events that enhance your inner and outer horizon. In the second half of the month there is more concern about the dimension of the heart: compassion coupled with the understanding that it is the mind which has to find intelligent solutions to provide a playing field for the heart upon which it can take effect.

LeoLeo: In the first half of March reflect on your deepest strength and don’t let yourself be distracted by external stumbling blocks or even fantastic enticements or promises. Be in touch with your own power, but stay grounded and steadily take one step at a time. The second half of March grants you an insight into something that will only come to full fruition in 2017 – be it an internal or external development. The taste of it will sweeten the rest of the month and will clarify and lighten up much.

VirgoVirgo: March is a growth month. Generally it is about expansion: outer results are yet unlikely, but a profound development, which began already in October, is about to turn inwards. The coming months revolve primarily around inner expansion. Search for all the fullness of life within you – psychologically, mentally or spiritually. Try to get to the bottom of things and extend what you have achieved so far; embark on the search for what quenches your true longing.

LibraLibra: In the first week of March the rebel within you stirs and you succeed fairly well in giving him an acceptable form of expression. The rest of the month is under Neptune-Saturn influence, whereby Neptune clearly predominates. This can make life wonderfully relaxed, but can also conjure pink glasses onto your nose, which produces only temporary pleasant experiences. Thus activate Saturn’s sober look again and again or ask several people for their opinion in order to create clarity.

ScorpioScorpio: Excessive energy could provide unrest in the beginning and end of March. Otherwise, the month is greatly harmonious. You fall into line with the developments that began in Fall and expand them, even though at first mainly internally. Follow with what gives you a feeling of fullness or satisfaction or whatever points in that direction. Yet pay close attention to your intuition; you know if something might be worthwhile or not. In the second half of March contact with others is enriching on all levels.

SagittariusSagittarius: The most striking influences of this month are affecting you, and usually in very positive ways. They are about more balance and less polarization while the energy is now shifting within. Mars in Sagittarius grants you continued energy and ensures productivity. But in this regard it is also important to be vigilant, because there is a prolonged development process ahead. Pay attention to details and merits, and embrace delays rather than plowing ahead all too fast.

CapricornCapricorn: Your month is primarily determined by the extremely beneficial Jupiter-Pluto trine. Now the time is ripe to reconsider the steps you initiated in Fall. On the one hand it is about expansion, and perhaps about even more expansion. Above all look at the welfare of the larger context in which you stand and think in medium terms. During 2016/17 you can create great cause – a lot of goodness for you and all those in your sphere of influence. To do so you need helpers with a sense of practicality and wholesomeness.

AquariusAquarius: Now you will experience a little taste of the Saturn-Uranus trine of next year: this month promises a pleasant balance between stability and exciting innovations and in early March this will animate especially your relationships or the creative field. Play with new options without risking the firm ground under your feet. During the month it is about playing with ideas, concepts or answers that you have previously never contemplated. Enjoy the adventure of the mind.

PiscesPisces: You are looking for a balance between what is so natural for you: to open up and flow with the events and that what corresponds to your opposite sign – to analyze, clarify and thereby has a healing effect. Although both approaches are quite different, the intended target is the same: to create a better, more beautiful world – in whatever sense. In fact, neither one nor the other approach can achieve this goal; only their interaction promises success.
