Syrian artist Abdalla Al Omari is the creator of the ‘Vulnerability Series’, that brings awareness to the plight of five million refugees that fled from Syria. A number that compares to more or less the entire population of Singapore or New Zealand. (video)
Having been a displaced person himself, Abdalla Al Omari channeled his frustration with the media and global politics by producing paintings that portray leaders as being vulnerable and in positions outside of power, homeless in fact. He encourages others to also speak up.
