Osho full moon celebration in Pune on July 9

On July 9, Osho Meditation Centres in various cities of India and around the world will organise meditation camps and events to celebrate Guru Purnima (Aashadh Purnima) to express their gratitude towards their master, Osho.

Organised by Osho Friends Foundation in Pune, the event to be held in the city is open for all and is free of cost. Swami Prem Anadi said, “We are dedicating this day to our master and will be having a kirtan session of his songs and a dhyan [meditation, ed.]. It is our way of thanking him for being with us always.” The event which will have kirtan, music and dhyan will be held between 3 and 6 pm at Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Memorial Hall in Koregaon Park.

Hundreds of Osho meditation centres in India and the entire world, from New Delhi to New York, from Dharamshala to Washington DC and from Ludhiana to Los Angeles will be conducting an event with full devotion. Swami Chaitanya Keerti said, “Osho explained the significance of this day: ‘And this Guru Purnima Day is the day of all the Buddhas, all those who have become aware. In their remembrance, become aware.’ We will be celebrating this significance at the events held worldwide.”

Osho International Meditation Resort, Koregaon Park will be not conducting any event on this day.
