A video showing famed Late Late Night host James Cordon heading to Liverpool for a special day with Paul McCartney. Shown recently on Sky One, England.
They are driving around together while singing several of Paul McCartney’s biggest hits in ‘carpool karaoke’ mode, exploring the city of his youth, visiting his childhood home where he wrote music together with John Lennon, and performing songs in a local pub.
The power of The Beatles’ music echoes in one’s body and you’ll find yourself singing and clapping and remembering with Paul McCartney and James Cordon (if you are in the same age group as most of Osho News’ contributors that is), and maybe even tear up a little.
It is a particularly endearing moment when Paul McCartney shares some background about a particular song. He says, “I had a dream in the ’60s where my mum who died came to me in the dream and was reassuring me, saying, ‘It’s going to be OK. Just let it be.'”
“Oh, I felt so relieved like… Oh, it’s going to be great. She gave me the positive words. So I woke up, I go – what was that? […] So I wrote the song; it was full of positivity,” he added.
