Some of their members are featured in Gully Boy, a Bollywood film inspired by Mumbai’s very own rappers.

Says Aamir Shaikh (Shaikspeare), rapper and co-founder Bombay Lokal, a hip-hop collective: “I’ve done songs which talk about social causes, the struggles of students, the struggles of minorities, me belonging to the Muslim community, and how the political scenario has affected minorities.”
