Amanda’s car is a bit unreliable and she often contacts Patrick asking him for a ride every time it brakes down.
Last Monday Patrick got another text message from her.
“What happened this time?” he wrote back.
“My brakes went out,” Amanda texted. “Can you come to get me?”
Patrick inquired, “Where are you?”
“I’m in the High Street drugstore,” texted Amanda.
“And where’s the car?” John shot back.
“It’s right inside here, with me.”
