8-15 December 2024 at the Osho Home Ashram, includes Osho Tantra-Prana meditation retreat with Keerti and excursions to natural wonders like the marble rocks. Updated with article in The Pioneer, December 5, 2024
A celebration of our Master’s birthday with a live in concert with Hariprasad Chaurasia, tabla maestro Ojas Odhiya and many more artists, is planned again, this year for 8-15 December 2024, organised by Paras and Rabiya.
Hariprasad Chaurasia said he was eager to return to this year’s Festival, because last time he felt the same energy level as when he was performing in front of Osho.
In addition there will be the percussionist Sivamani, as Keerti writes on X on 26.11.2024: “With his drums, Sivamani takes us on a journey from our heartbeat to the rhythm of our innermost sound. We feel blessed to have this Padma-Sri-awarded Maestro percussionist at Osho Home Ashram.”
On Saturday, 14 December, there will be a one-day Osho Tantra-Prana Dhyan Utsav Meditation Retreat and Celebration facilitated by Chaitanya Keerti (update 24.11.2024).
Accommodation will be at Osho Home Ashram in Bhedaghat, Jabalpur, MP, situated on the banks of the holy river Narmada. It is renowned for its moon-white geodesic Buddha Hall, jacuzzi, spa and swimming pool, and its excellent vegetarian cuisine.
The Ashram is located within walking distance from the Dhuadhar waterfalls, part of an 8km-long gorge created by the Narmada. Its marble rocks with shades in different colours are not only famous for their breathtaking beauty but also their historical and geological significance. No wonder Osho had described these marble cliffs as the most ecstatic place when seen under the moonlight.
On our spiritual sightseeing trips we will follow Osho’s footsteps and also explore the vibes of ancient Tantric temples nearby.
These are the places we will visit during the event:
- The tree under which Osho became enlightened.
- Chausath Yogini Temple, the temple of 64 goddesses. It is said that one of the goddesses is devoted to our personal protection and guidance.
- The holy river Narmada and Dhuadhar waterfall.
- The university where Osho taught. After sharing anecdotes of young Osho, Paras will take us back in time and give us a practical experience through guided meditations on the spot. Osho’s wooden armchair is still in the library, where he has read thousands of books.
- We will even have the chance of meditating in the room where he lived and from where he started bringing his spiritual work to the whole world.
