I bend my knees

Poetry

A poem by Dipak

Kangaroo in stream

I bend my knees to all that is,
Wise and foolish,
Blind and clear.
This breath of life,
This last release,
My heart more true,
My love and bitter wound.
I bend my knees to broken skin,
To starving child,
To starving soul.
A petal falls, is turned by air.
An ant changes course.
I bend my knees.
