Ageh Bharti writes about a daily insert dedicated to Osho
For the last 54 years there has been a reputed Hindi daily newspaper published from Pune. It’s called Aaj Ka Anand (आज का आनंद). Its publisher and chief editor is Mr Shyam Agrawal.
Mr Shyam Agrawal became so much interested in Osho that he started giving one full page to Osho. He named the page, ‘Osho Anand.’
Thanks to this page the circulation skyrocketed from one lakh copies to reach 3.5 lakh copies a day. (Because of corona, the circulation came down temporarily to 1.5 lakh copies.)
To see Osho getting spread in this manner was a matter of great joy for all Osho lovers like me and also for Shyam Agrawal ji himself.
I have been to his office thrice in the last decade. Meeting him always gave me a feeling as if I was meeting a sage. To enter his office was like stepping into a temple, as it was decorated with Osho’s beautiful picture and his books. Shyam ji is always seen in a white outfit.
The paper is circulated in the Maharashtra State, mainly in the western districts, in Pune, Ahmednagar, Akola, Amravati, Aurangabad, Buldhana, Gondia, Latur, Kolhapur, Nasik, suburban Mumbai, etc.
I very much wish that the paper will soon regain its higher level of circulation, to spread Osho to more and more readers.
