Heart connected to his hands
by Deva Nirguna
Anando (August J. Le Boeuf) passed peacefully in his sleep here at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.
We have been neighbours for more than 20 years, enjoying the freedom to create and the warmth, skill and hospitality of the local Mayan community.
Prior to being a founding contributor to the Osho community of Geetam, Anando had been a creative force in the Pasedena Playhouse and other theater and tv projects.
Until his last few days he was still active in his studio. He always connected his heart to his hands and and communicated the Artist’s Way by training many of the locals in sculpture and design.
He had wonderful hands… a generous heart and a flirtatious smile. He celebrated life in true Osho style and Life celebrated through him. He is missed, but his presence lives on in his designs and sculptures.

In the Osho Comic ‘The Mystic Rose And The Magic Of The Empty Chair’ the Magic Chair is actually a chair Anando created, which is the back of a naked woman where you sit in it with 2 Bose speakers on each side and where you can rock back and forth on this woman’s ass. The entire chair is made of special plastic and only few of these are existing somewhere still in this world. Anando Le Boeuf! An artist, a seeker, a genius…
I love this guy and miss him.
