Nature photographs, in a video, by Shanti
In this video you first see a series of photographs of short-eared owls. I took them in the early evening before sunset.
In the second part we follow an eagle. You will notice that he will be chased by a smaller bird, a buzzard, most probably to protect its nest from the bigger bird.
When I am out taking photographs I try to basically get inside the birds’ world. This helps me show their power, personality, humour and beauty. For me it’s truly a meditation to just sit and observe them. Through these photographs I try to give the viewers another perspective on nature and how truly amazing it is.
This clip was also shown at my Birdtalk show which I do in different cities in Denmark. The music is a live recording from my last show where I play flutes, saxes and EWI windsynth.
