Dipamo from the Bodywork Academy in Berlin, Germany dies on 7th of May 2011
Mega writes: “I first met Dipamo in the mid 80’s in Pune and the last time we met was in Goa in 2004 with his Japanese girl friend Shunyata. A few months back, during one of his body workshops at his Academy in Berlin, he suddenly collapsed and went into a coma. He did regain his consciousness but, unfortunately, a few days ago he was too weak to carry on. He finally took the jump last night on the 7th of May 2011. This is only a photo album that will give you a glimpse of his life, his friends, his work/pleasure and travels – a meeting of East and West.”
The funeral took place on 25th May (11:30am) at the Ev. Friedrichswerder Friedhof, Bergmannstrasse 42-44, 10961 Berlin Kreuzberg.

Beloved Dipamo… we were not close but I do remember you very well: from Pune, from Goa, from Germany. You were one of the tribe, one of us, a face to remember, a gentle energy surrounded you! Farewell! You will be missed, Dipamo, by all of us!
Farewell, my darling,
I was a student of his long ago, 1997, 1998 and 1999. I am so grateful for having learned bodywork from him. I now live in Canada, where I am originally from, and each new client to whom I give a massage is blown away by the results and by how different the techniques are compared the way they are taught here. Dipamo was an amazing teacher and I am sad to have found out just now that he passed. I was looking for him because I lost my certificates of training from him and wanted to get new ones, alas, sad news. He is now one with everything, bless him and his family and all who were touched by him and new him. Thank you for having written and posted this article. Namaste.
