Navajat from the UK died in a car accident on 18th January 2012
…we just heard from Yatro.
And Raga informs us that a Celebration of Navajat’s life is going to be held at Worthing Crematorium, West Sussex on Tuesday 31st January at 3pm. His musician friends will then send him off – in the style of the Tarot card of the old Zen master whose clothes were filled with fireworks! Later at the Franklin Arms, London Road, Washington W. Sussex RH20 4AL
Ah, dear Navajat, You were such a golden angel on many a construction site. You were the most wonderful manager, always respectful of both gender and individual, and never once either pulling rank or position. So happy in the simplest of circumstances. So simply honest and real. Looking back on those difficult days, I realize how deeply you touched me. Safe home.
Gratitude Navajat, for your amazing spirit and qualities, your smile, your music and your love. Here’s one of your songs, that says it all.
“Oh, Bhagwan I can feel you taking me
Right down to the end of the line,
Oh, you’re gonna shake me, oh you’re gonna wake me
Making me feel so fine.
I can feel my heart going boompaty boomph
I can feel my spirit starting to shine,
Every time I’m near you, every time I hear you
Every time I’m drinking your wine……”

The great laugh and big smile from Navajat, made the work of the Sun Services construction crew (of Medina times) lighter and sunnier…
