Dynamic Meditation as background to Nena’s song ‘We are true’
Nena is one of the most successful artists in German music history. Her songs are internationally acclaimed, and to date her record sales top 22 million units. Most recently she is one of the jurors at ‘Voice of Germany’, a popular reality talent shows with millions of viewers.
In 2009 she gave an interview to Sueddeutsche Zeitung, declaring: “I am a fan of Osho. Two or three years ago I’ve discovered him for myself. I enjoy reading his books and find myself there again.
“I’m completely liberal, which Osho was also,” she continued. “It depends what you yourself do with it. I see this very, very sincerely. Just read him. I don’t want to advertise anything, but to me it feels good. For example, I do Dynamic Meditation, which is physical, to detoxify myself. We meet with people and meditate together. We don’t sit on the floor, for that I am overloaded with too much information. I also tried Transcendental Meditation; I can’t do it. Osho had an answer for me: the Dynamic Meditation. For one hour you are physically totally with it and subsequently you have genuinely met yourself.”
