Osho at the 20th World Book Fair, Delhi

Osho World Foundation participated at the bi-yearly World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, which ran from February 25 until March 4, 2012.

Organised by India’s National Book Trust, the event is considered to be the third biggest market for English publications and has gained popularity on a global level. The exhibition hosted more than 1,300 exhibitors and 12,000 publishers.

Thousands of books in more than 20 languages were displayed, from science and technology to social sciences, medicine and health, business, and last but not least – spirituality.

As at every fair, Osho World Foundation participated prominently in this event by displaying the complete work of Osho by showing hundreds of Osho books, launching rare videos of Osho discourses from ‘Be Still and Know’ and ‘Theologica Mystica’, as well as DVDs, ACDs, MP3CDs, Music CDs, I-Pod, Hard Disk, photo biographies and magazines. Also, they made available for the first time Osho Meditation Demo DVDs and Osho Books in foreign and regional languages – Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Urdu, Punjabi, Malayalam, Kannada and Gujarati among others.

Ma Prem Naina of Osho World said, “The fair was also a great venue for people to meet.  Swami Satya Vedant and Swami Chaitanya Keerti were there every day for several hours. It’s a fantastic place for making Osho’s vision available and visible to the world. Visitors walk in and get to know about Osho. Lots of sannyasin friends have been volunteering in taking care of the customers and of those people interested in understanding Osho’s vision through his books and meditations.”
