‘Awakening’ by Darpan

Music

.. from his most recent CD ‘Lovelight’

Awakening from an epic dream
Awakening from the long dark night

Om Mane Padme Hum

Awakening from history
Awakening from duality

Om Mane Padme Hum

The liberation of the human soul
To consciousness of the One and All
The activation of the sacred plan
The birthing of a New Man
A New Man…

When the light within
Is revealed
All the pain and suffering
Shall be healed
And the truth of Love
Is our destiny
Living on the Earth
In peace and harmony

Awakening to new perceptions
Awakening to the joy of Life

Om Mane Padme Hum

Awakening to a new dimension
Awakening to a Paradise

Om Mane Padme Hum

The illusion of separation
Disappearing into Unity
Into the source of a higher vibration
Into the wonder of the Mystery
The Mystery….

When the light within
Is revealed
All the pain and suffering
Shall be healed
And the truth of Love
Is our destiny
Living on the Earth in peace and harmony

Om Mane Padme Hum
Om Mane Padme Hum
Om Mane Padme Hum
Om Mane Padme Hum

‘Lovelight’ is a collection of my songs and insights. Coming from the heart, they reflect the pulse of the planetary shift that we are currently experiencing on a personal and collective level. I have wanted to make this CD for a long time and it is a distillation of my years with Osho in Pune. My beloved friend Maneesh de Moor produced it and Sudha did the female vocals.

It can be downloaded from iTunes (itunes.apple.com) and hardcopy can be purchased from his Darpan’s website (www.darpan.com).

DarpanDarpan was born in the Netherlands and was raised and educated in Australia where he graduated in Psychology and the Dramatic Arts. He spent many years in the ashram in Pune and later lived and worked with various shamans in Brazil, Ecuador and Peru. The CD ‘LoveLight’ is the most recent one of the four he recorded in the last 7 years. www.darpan.com

Darpan writes about his time with Osho: “I took sannyas in 1984 and was given the name Vimal Darpan (Pure Mirror). I travelled to Pune just days after Osho returned to the ashram in 1987 and spent the next few years alternating between Pune and the West, spending as much time as I could in the ashram and only returning to make money to finance the next trip. During that time I was fortunate to make friends and play with many wonderful musicians including Milarepa, Kamal, Rupesh, Teerth, Marcos, Sudhananda, Nivedano, Satgyan, Miten, Swagato, Bharti, Sandesh and many others. I was in the ashram when Osho left the body and will never forget the awesome celebration that took place. I am eternally grateful to my beloved master for the gift of that precious time with him and to experience the crowning jewel of his work.”
