Humour — 12 November 2012

A business had grown so much that larger premises were needed.

After the construction work was finished, congratulatory messages were sent to the owner by his friends and clients.

One of the owner’s friends decided to send a beautiful bunch of flowers and when they arrived at the new business site, the owner looked astonished at the card which read, ‘Rest in Peace’.

He was outraged and called the florist to complain about this obvious mistake and that he was very angry.

The florist replied, “Sir, I’m really sorry about the mistake, but rather than getting angry, you should imagine this: somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying, ‘Congratulations on your new location.’
