CBS reported about a billboard in Culver City, USA, promoting JC Penney’s exclusive new designer tea kettle.
It was a bit as the saying goes, ‘now you see it, now you don’t’: the image of the tea kettle could be either understood as to be a mere tea kettle or, like many people did, as an image of Adolf Hitler; and this caused quite a buzz in the region. The ad was taken down from the billboard on Tuesday but you can laugh your way through here:
