Mood of the Moment

With a number of planets changing signs and direction lots of things are on the move this month. Those who like change will look forward to new opportunities. However those who approach change sceptically will tend to worry about problems that could arise. Pluto and Uranus continue to shake things up, and will only rest when all the old bad stuff has been cleared away and replaced with things fresh and new. But Saturn and Chiron calm the waves in July, compensating and providing grounding. Also the six (out of ten) planets in the water element create a balance through strengthening the need for togetherness.

In the second half of the month Jupiter moves out of Cancer, where he’s been for a year giving Cancerians the courage to trust in the fullness of being, and allow it to carry them. The next lucky ones to have Jupiter at their side will be the Leos, who will get their chance to shine and find the recognition they desire.

Jupiter continually searches and enjoys moving higher, reaching further and becoming greater! Now the focus shifts from the joy of emotional communication and closeness to the joy of being a creator, and the wish to make many people happy through one’s own creations. From now on it’s about revamping our own lives, and expanding our radius of action.

Aries: Relating is your resource in July. It’s easy for you to connect and to cultivate and enjoy your relationships. However, where other goals are concerned you are still under Uranus-Pluto pressure, and will need a lot of discipline to prevent fuses blowing. Adopt an attitude in which you enjoy experimenting, and point your activities in a new, positive direction, if possible to the advantage of many of those who are also involved. At the end of the month, when talking, make sure your words are being really understood.

Taurus: Flexibility is what counts in the first half of July. Conforming and adapting to the circumstances is a not a sign of weakness but of intelligence. In the second half of the month relationships will become the focus of your attention. Your heart opens at first in a friendly, playful way, and then becomes emotional and romantic too. However, make sure you keep a realistic eye on things in this second phase, and maintain your boundaries. Otherwise you’ll end up feeling invaded and taken over.

Gemini: This month you can choose between welcoming life light-heartedly, or being pulled down by its unavoidable imperfections. Especially in the second half of the month a lot of resources are available to you: forceful action, relaxed composure and grounded realism. The key lies in your attitude to yourself. The more you can welcome yourself as you are, the easier it will be to welcome life and all the situations it has in store for you.

Cancer: The tensions of the last month continue into July. But you also have many resources available. Your relationship skill above all opens the doors. In case you sense a deficit in this respect it’s now worth examining the mental pattern that lies behind this more closely. But you can also simply direct your attention to where relating is easy. Preserve the self-confidence and openness that Jupiter has made available to you in recent months.

Leo: A big year is beginning. Even if its start in July may be a little rough, in the second third of the month more and more opportunities will open up, to clear away obstacles not only now but for the whole year to come. The necessary expense of time and energy plays a subsidiary role, as your enthusiasm for your projects carries you forward. Libra: This is the last month with Mars in your sign, which supports you to represent your case courageously and forcefully. Also the conjunction of Mars with the North Node in the middle of July, represents the challenge of developing more will power, determination, assertiveness and straightforwardness. In the second half of July your soft, feminine qualities will be supported to start with – which can help you find even cleverer methods of asserting yourself.

Scorpio: July is still rather sluggish but there are some bright periods. Especially Saturn turns out to be a real source of strength during the month, helping you concentrate on the essential. At the beginning of the month you’ll have to practice patience. However, the planets in Cancer help you accept support rather than wanting to fight your way through alone. At the end of July Mars comes to visit you for six months. As long as you can respect your own and others’ limits, he will strengthen and energize you.

Sagittarius: With Jupiter entering Leo, a year of creativity begins for you. Your self-confidence and optimism increase, and it becomes easier for you to dare take the big steps you’ve been avoiding so far.
