Veet suggests to try out sage as a great alternative to basil.
This recipe is divine! I almost prefer it to basil pesto now.
Ingredients
1/4 cup activated nuts
1/4 cup activated sunflower seeds
1 garlic clove
1 bunch watercress
6 sage leaves
good swig of olive oil
salt to taste
Preparation
In a food processor place the nuts, sunflower seeds, and garlic and process until fine. Add watercress and sage and pulse until combines. Add salt to taste and a good swig of oil. Great on bread, crackers or on boiled potatoes.
