…left his body on 17th September 2014.
Prasanna, also known and loved as ‘the President’ left his body in his home in Seattle. Born as Roux Harding in Georgia, in 1958, he moved to Seattle in 1981 and started, soon after, a window cleaning business where many of us learned the trade and worked with him over the years. He took sannyas in 1983 and worked on the Ranch for 6 months. In 1986 he went for the first time to Pune and Goa; Anjuna became his second home ever since. He loved to dance at parties, swimming miles in the ocean and playing paddleball at the beach. His gentle, kind and sweet spirit will be missed by many.
There will be a celebration in Seattle at ‘World of Meditation’ on 27th September at 3 pm.

Prasanna beautiful brother journey well. I so wish I could be with all your other beloveds in Seattle celebrating you, your life and all the precious jewels you have sprinkled around. I am so grateful for the golden memories I have of you. Such beauty. Such a big heart. What fun we had. How safe and wonderful I felt traveling on the back of your motorbike with you driving those exotic Goan nights! May you journey well now through the non-physical realms. Infinite Love andLlight,
Usha xxx
Prasanna, you were one of the first sannyasins I met on the Ranch in 1982. We were so young and full of spirit. Though we lost touch through these years I reconnected with you at Geha’s memorial at Subhan and Shanti’s meditation center just a few weeks ago and was thrilled to see you. Now you’re gone, but always here. Love on your journey,
Atit
Prasanna (Roux), we had some good times and great adventures together as well as other friends. Farley (his brother), Marpa, Francesco, Pepper, Gretchen, Joy and many others who spent time with Prasanna on Capital Hill in Seattle, Anjuna (Goa) and Pune (India). He was one of the first to start cleaning windows in Seattle (Capital Hill) after the Ranch. Many followed after him including myself. A good person to have as a friend and hang out with.
Have good journey, Prasanna! We will meet again at some point.

We spent lovely times together in Goa and Pune in the late 80’s, and then on Capitol Hill in Seattle where I came to stay and learned to clean windows. I met your lovely friends, and we went to the Olympic rain forest and then EYOT on Vashon. I used to sing Joni Mitchell songs in your ear, a capella. You were gently beside me through some hard times too and for that I will always be grateful. We lost touch but then in early 2014 we re-connected once or twice from a distance. A sweet and soulful man you were, and you will always be in my thoughts and my heart. May your soul be at peace. Much love,
Faith
