Subhan suggests exploring the many possibilities for more freedom, at least for a weekend
Because we view the world through a conditioned patchwork of ideas and values and comparisons and rights and wrongs, and shoulds and shouldn’ts, we stay contained in a very limited, structured world. Anything outside of this conditioning is described by the mind as incorrect or inappropriate, unworthy, silly, weird, absurd, distasteful, and just plain wrong!
But what if we had no such distinctions and limitations? What if the mind took a vacation for a while, and we just lived in the playground of life, exploring all the possibilities? (I’m not suggesting that intelligence also takes a vacation and leaves the controls with stupidity!)
We would be opening the door to more and more possibilities, and less and less conformity. Perhaps at first, it would be freedom from conformity. And then it could become freedom for something else. Something that pops out of the creative soil within.
Eventually, it could become just freedom, without any objective or goal. Uncommitted to any jargon or limitations.
Open season on being alive!
Why not create a weekend, alone or with friends or a lover, far from social influences, where boundaries can be explored and insights can be gained about just how limited our lives have become?
