(2 October 1947 – 18 May 2024)
Maa Apoorva was born Manjeet (Manu) Kaur in Patiala, Punjab and met Osho in Mumbai for the first time in 1972. Meeting Osho helped her find the real significance in life. At that time she was already married with three children. Osho told her to live with her family and meditate.
She worked and meditated in the Pune ashram from 1985 till 2000.
It was her dream to dedicate herself to Osho’s work. In 2000, along with Swami Dhyan Rajneekar, she established the Osho Life Academy in Vidisha (unfar from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh), where for many years they organized meditation camps.
Till her last breath, Maa Apoorva beautifully walked through her life on the path shown by her beloved Master.
