Ageh Bharti reports from an event facilitated by Swami Krishna Bharti at Satna, from 22nd to 26th May 2024
The meditation camp was organised by Swami Krishna Bharti, who runs the meditation centre (Osho Glimpse) in Satna, MP, India.
Despite burning temperatures, the participants arrived from as far as Delhi, Bombay, Jaipur, Jhansi, Allahabad, Rewa, Katni, Chhaterpur, Bhatinda (Punjab), Varanasi, Seehor and Tikamgarh. Everybody enjoyed the camp tremendously and four friends took sannyas. They went back home in the hope to return as soon as possible.
I was invited as a special guest. It was the first camp I attended after my wife’s death in 2020 and the corona lockdowns. I highly admired Monica Pathak who has been of great help to Swami Krishna Bharti in every respect. I also appreciated Swami Dhananjay Bharti who made his beautiful place with its praiseworthy lawns and gardens available almost for free.
Swami Krishna Bharti is a rare, noble and generous person, reason why my heart made me write about him and the camp. He took sannyas in 1977 from Osho and has dedicated himself to the meditation centre after retiring as Chief Engineer in 2011. From the very start he never charged for the meditations. This time, though, Monika Pathak suggested to ask for a contribution, to keep away unwanted people who would just come to tease the women. So he charged something, but only Rs 1000/- per person for lodging and boarding for five days…
