A taste from Shastro’s new album
In mid-March I finally came out of the studio, happy and satisfied. I kept postponing the recording of this project for the last six months, but finally I did it! It was actually quite quick, just one month for the four tracks and their very simple arrangements. My idea was to keep it simple, as similar as possible to the versions I play in my live concerts. I think I have succeeded well in that.
- Samara Uehe
- Nelle Tue Mani
- Shanti Om
- Kare Ora Lullaby
Needless to say, this is some of the music I will be playing on my Spring Tour which has just begun with concerts in Viterbo and Rome. Yahooo! (www.shastro.com)

This album features a blend of rich vocal harmonies, guitar, and flutes, crafting an enchanting soundscape. Shastro uniquely combines the Sanskrit language with spontaneous sounds that emerge during the composing process, creating his own universal language that he jokingly names ‘Shastrik’. In this approach, the meaning of each word lies in the vibration of its sound rather than its logical interpretation, managing in this way to bypass the mind and reach straight to the heart.”
