Yes, always a pleasure to meet you Rabia on the way during our years in publication, an inspiration, enjoying your humour, smile, joy. Fly high!

I was close to Rabia since the Pune 2 days where she patiently and lovingly taught me how to use a Macintosh computer; she had brought the first Mac to the ashram in 1987. Rabia was always a dedicated researcher in the Pune and Rajneeshpuram communes and extremely reliable. In Sweden she lived outside of Stockholm in an apartment located in what is called ‘The Ideal Village’: an ecological village populated by many people wishing to live an alternative lifestyle.  Over the years we kept up a lively correspondence.

She told me she was happy living there, working from home with a MultiLevelMarketing company offering investments, and she translated and edited books between Swedish and English – both ways – in the genre of psychology and philosophy. She once told me, ”All my Osho tapes (900 of them) are moving around the community here and people love to listen… Some of the TM people who live here say: “Why did I not end up with Osho?” And when I walk to the mailbox I might hear a neighbor tell an Osho joke to another … “

Farewell, Rabia! I am grateful to have known you so closely and walked and laughed together for a while.

Beloved Rabia, we wish you a happy journey into the Light. We will always remember you as a dear friend and fellow traveller. So many thanks to you for all the support you gave us in Sweden for our courses and here in Australia when you lived with us for 3 months to edit Rahasya’s book, ‘Avalanches and Awakening’.
We are reminded of you saying that it was one of the most beautiful times of your life. We enjoyed and loved the company we shared, and you will always have a place in our hearts. Farewell, dear friend…

I had a very strong dream yesterday. I felt like I had been travelling far off during the sleep. The dream was like a strong energy darshan with Osho – and during the dream I meet Rabia. I have not seen Rabia for many years, but I got the feeling during the dream that she had left her body. I looked it up on Google – and found the confirmation today on Osho News.
Tears are rolling down my face when I remember how Rabia has been one of the persons that has been such a natural part of my whole journey with Osho for more than 30 years all over the world: Pune, Oregon, Stockholm, Malmoe. I remember when I saw Rabia the last time when I visited the Osho Center in Stockholm after being away for a while. We met, found a place in a sofa, where we sat and talked, laughed and shared what was important in our lives for hours until the center closed late in the evening. I remember Rabia saying: “Everybody is beautiful in No-mind”. Words that struck a cord in my heart and being. I also remember Rabia being totally blissed out in Pune after receiving a pen from Osho.
But as Osho says: “Never speak about me in the past tense” – and, Rabia, I am happy to meet you again, beautiful and wise soul, my friend on the path. His blessings – love,
Giten

With love to Rabia. Hope she’s at peace under Osho’s canopy of love.
