A delicious alternative to dairy!
Ingredients
1 cup soaked raw organic almonds without the skin (soaked overnight, discard water)
4 cups filtered water
pinch of sea salt
1 tbsp non-alcohol vanilla extract (optional)
1/2 vanilla bean (optional)
Preparation
In a blender, at medium, then high speed, blend soaked almonds, water, and sea salt until smooth. Add vanilla extract and bean (if so desired) and blend for another few seconds.
Filter the milk through a sieve; the pulp can be used for baking!
Keeps up to a week in the fridge.
