Rupert Sheldrake, author of “Science Set Free”, speaks on TEDx (this video was later removed, sparking a controversy about TED’s censorship).
In this widely-celebrated TEDx talk, Rupert Sheldrake exposed the ‘delusion’ of modern-day science, namely that our bodies, our minds and indeed our entire universe are nothing but physical stuff. ‘Materialism’ is the fairy tale on which nearly all of modern science is based, and materialism is a delusion.
Sheldrake says, “The science delusion is the belief that science already understands the nature of reality in principle, leaving only the details to be filled in.” He speaks eloquently and not without a sense humour on this subject, asserting that “our minds are extended beyond our brains… and calls upon questioning existing dogmas and to move beyond them.”
