Voyages

…left his body behind 31st October 2013.

Sangit writes:

“Most sannyasins would know Sw. Anand Payondihi from Poona 1, the most intense and heartful guy you could ever hope to meet!
He met Osho in 1978 and truly has not looked back since. He spent time in the Sydney and Perth Communes of the 80’s, worked with the kids and guarded the gates in Poona 1 and 2, scrubbed pots in the kitchen and made coffees in Basho in the early Poona 2 days. Although he had not been back to Poona since 1994, his one big love and total devotion was to Osho.

“In the last 5 years he retreated very much from the world, somehow getting ready to die. Even though he was still quite young and not really sick as such, he knew he would not grow old in his body. Certainly his energy and his heart never got old; his body, however, had enough.

“Nidhi, as he was affectionately called by his friends in the last few years, was the most humble man I ever met. His love was, and is total!
And love never dies, it just changes energetic states…. Thank you Nidhi, for 25 years of your life, with friendliness, always…

“No beginning, no end, just 62 years playing on planet Earth. Payonidhi died as he lived, intense and total (massive heart attack), full of love and trust for Osho when nothing else was left….”

She also commented on two of the photos she sent: “Payonidhi working the old espresso machine in Basho and back on his old stomping ground of North Queensland, playing with crocodiles…”
