Mood of the Moment

During this month, the last of the seven Uranus Pluto squares takes place; they have kept the world on the run in recent years and have provided radical change also in individual lives. Those who have carried out necessary changes or set them into motion will emerge transformed from this revolutionary time: more courageous, alert, alive – and at the same time independent and autonomous. Those who, as most earth inhabitants, live their freedom only haltingly or in such a way that damages others, need other planetary influences for liberation.

In the first half of March, several planets come into play connecting momentum, joy and empathy with the desire for freedom, thus supplying positive energy. Now it is a matter of motivating oneself and others for everything that expands one’s own limits and enriches life. With Saturn turning retrograde, the process of manifestation will take a little time, yet the moment has come to set a new course.

With the New Moon and the total eclipse of the equinox sun it is imperative to let go of squishy thinking so the beginning of spring (autumn in the southern hemisphere) can really turn out as revolutionary as promised by the meeting of Sun and Uranus. Again, it is about freedom: to mobilise all energies for that which you carry close to your heart.

Aries: A turbulent March full of inspiration and high energy, a thrilling and stimulating time. However, from the middle of the month it also harbours its dangers. This is due to the seventh Uranus Pluto square that may cause all those emotions to boil up again that could not be processed during the last three years. Secondly, conciliatory Venus bids goodbye to Aries for now. But in the last third of the month Uranus could well provide positive surprises and Saturn stabilisation.

Taurus:

You will be dealing with three powerful energies: expansive (Jupiter), refreshing (Uranus), and transforming (Pluto). Enjoy the beginning of the month with Jupiter and Uranus. They bestow fulfilment and ingenuity, while Uranus in combination with Pluto demands a lot more from you: transformation and renewal break you out of familiar ruts. How helpful that from mid-March Venus and Neptune appear just in time to caress your heart and make everything easier – even Pluto’s intense metamorphosis.

Gemini: This month, a variety of planetary energies come into play and provide a colourful program. Activate everything at your disposal with respect to flexibility so you can dance casually and nimbly into the coming spring. Early March small innovative projects will be under a lucky star. Middle of the month there is a limbo between letting go and control and during the last third it is worthwhile to accept also potentially demanding or painful processes to enable a powerful takeoff in April.

Cancer: A powerful beginning of the month, building you up for a fundamental transformation in the second half of March. Particularly those born around the 8th of July will come under the transformative might of the last Uranus Pluto square. The solar eclipse on the 20th will finally drive forth into a new direction all that which hasn’t suited you for a long time. Even if unfamiliar to start with, your life from now on will steadily become softer, more flowing and open. Entrust yourself to the flow that will make you more and more courageous and strong.

Leo: A prolific month in which you can experience the full range of emotional and mental states. On the one hand your confidence in yourself and the world increases: you draw from the abundance of your strength and abilities. On the other hand, Neptune and Chiron show quite clearly that no individual power is able to steer the course of life. But the knowledge that you are integrated into the larger whole not only humbles you but also means a great happiness. Allow that and radiate it.

Virgo: You are in your element but keep on paying attention that your perspective does not get narrowed down too much. The more you can let go and trust the flow of life, the more easily your energy will flow and will become available for everything that needs full deployment. Trust your potential! To this end you must vehemently put a stop to the eternal sceptic and stickler inside yourself. No-one else will take this off your hands. Actually no-one else is that well suited as you are to say “no” to what saps your strength.

Libra: You start off with much pizzazz into this month. Dare to do also the extraordinary! Possible stumbling blocks are hidden in all power issues, for example conflicts of authority, envy, jealousy, and fear of failure. Remember your resources, that which nourishes you, what works well, what gives you security and whatever is given to you as a present. Nothing in life is to be taken for granted, so appreciate the good in your life. This attitude will be particularly useful to you at the end of March and give you great joy, strength and vitality.

Scorpio: Moderation, realism and the search for the golden mean – all this helps you to successfully circumnavigate possible obstacles in March. Absolute standards, uncompromising demands and harping on about principles, on the other hand, won’t be helpful at all. Make sure that your energy keeps flowing and look for challenging tasks. Participate actively and play your part as best as you can. However, don’t be burdened by the notion that it depends on you whether something succeeds or not. Life has endlessly more options than you do.

Sagittarius: An exceptionally serendipitous first half of March. You may fully express your longing for expansion, renewal and happiness. Every new beginning is now under a lucky star, in particular if it is likely to benefit many people. Follow your enthusiasm! In the second half of the month Saturn takes over the helm and subjects ideas and matters close to your heart to a profound scrutiny. This may be sometimes unpleasant, but whatever stands up to his critical eye has a continued good chance of success.

Capricorn: Beginning and end of the month promise dynamic, buoyancy and success. At the same time you will by no means lose ground, but find practical solutions, which moreover will appeal to many other people. During the course of the month some tests need to be passed. Pay attention primarily to your need for control and efficiency, so you don’t frighten off the very people you would really have liked to have on board with you. You now tend to an uncompromisingness that can quickly backfire.

Aquarius: A thrilling first half of the month with a lot of movement, renewal and fulfilment. Particularly in your relationships and spiritual realm there will be surprises – mostly positive ones – which further enhance your possibilities. However, the second half of March could turn out to be a little exhausting and the surprises also may need getting used to. Be prepared to question yourself. Even if you are totally sure that you have found the philosopher’s stone, open up to the arguments of the pragmatists.

Pisces: Transformative processes determine the first third of the month. In the second period follows an examination of the possibilities and limitations of mental processes. Overly rigid thought patterns lead to a limited point of view. On the other hand, the idea that there is no need to look too closely will obscure your perception. Creative thinking stems from the ability to distinguish between useful and useless while remaining humane in the process. The last third of March is about making clear distinctions and decisions.
