The moment I stand in front of paper and pencil, my mind disappears and infinite possibilities open up before my eyes, filling me with bliss and joy. I go through a journey of creation. I don’t judge what I paint; I accept and embrace wherever the inspiration takes me to, letting my heart guide the shapes and colors and transform the space around me like magic.

There are a few aspects that have a strong influence in my art: sacred geometry (I am amazed by the beauty of certain patterns and symbols) and mandalas. Both nourish body, mind and soul while creating them, but also while looking at them. My art is also influenced by Mexican culture; ancient cultures such as Mayas, Aztecs and indigenous cultures that exist to this day. I also like to express aspects of female energy and often show nudes to represent freedom of being as well as the beauty of female energy.

After learning many meditation techniques and experiencing therapy I was able to express my emotions with authenticity and become aware of my body, spirit and mind. The moment I came to know meditation, a transformation happened; love, gratefulness and trust expanded, a new way of understanding life arose.

Every day brings new inspirations that come out in my creativity; I feel the energy move all over my body urging me to create. It is in these moments that I find myself in a sacred space in which I can play and celebrate the nectar of life in the present.
