Some time ago, there were rumours making the rounds that filmmaker Karan Johar was planning to make a film on Osho Rajneesh and that he wanted to sign Ranveer Singh to play the protagonist. Well, as it turns out, it was one of those vain rumours that didn’t hold any water.

However, a little birdie has a new nugget to share. It is being said that Aamir Khan, who is currently busy working on his Satyamev Jayate project and the film Thugs of Hindostan, will play the role of Osho in a web series for one of the digital majors. And this may happen before he embarks on his ambitious Mahabharata. We await official word on this.
