Police officers often have to work in stressful situations, giving more than their regular working hours and to make sure, they get their share of relaxation, ACP of Zone two Bachchan Singh proposed a meditation event for his fellow policemen and also women of Pune. Organised at Osho International Meditation Resort, Koregaon Park, the meditation program sure was a treat to them. With the help of senior police inspector Madan Bahadarpure and Ganesh Mane of crime branch Koregaon Park police station, the officers had a detox from their mundane life. A number of police constables, head constables, Assistant Police Inspector, Police sub-inspector and Police inspector of five police stations, zone two, and along with lady police officers indulged themselves in a three-hour meditation session.
Their detoxifying session commenced with a lush green campus tour and then heading towards the peaceful meditation hall. Amrit Sadhana from Osho [International Meditation Resort] facilitated various short meditations for everyone present there. The best part of the whole experience was that the techniques used for the meditation were designed especially to suit the work situations of the police officers. The officers learnt on how to deal with day-to-day stressful situations while enjoying work and being relaxed at the same time. They also took part in the dancing session that was no less than a refreshing treat for the police officers of Pune.
