An exhibition of mandalas by Veeno in Langenbruck, Basel Land, Switzerland.
Those who have followed Veeno’s tarot project on Osho News have surely become aware of her wonderful mandala creations. She will now show fifty of her mandalas publicly in Langenbruck, Switzerland from May 12 till 21.
Veeno writes about her mandalas:
The circle with its center, which connects the mandalas of all times, is the primal symbol of wholeness.
Without saying a word, mandalas speak deeply to each person.
I create my mandalas freely, without following traditional standards. The circle with its center is the only guideline for me. When creating I let my intuition run free. In this way, energy images related to life are created. Their diversity in color and shape is limitless.
Each mandala has a name. The naming helps point to the symbolic power of the respective mandala. Sometimes the names are poetically coded, sometimes metaphorical, then again quite directly and bluntly.
It is my great pleasure to be able to share my creations in this exhibition.
About the exhibition
Veeno’s exhibition ‘Lichtblicke’ (Glimpses of Light or Rays of Hope) frames the concerts of the Langenbrucker Konzertfrühling 2023 with the title “vox humana“ (human voice).
In the concerts we experience the voice as a carrier of emotional expression and human emotions – in the mandalas of the exhibition it is the colors and shapes in the circle.
The acoustic and visual similarities are also expressed in our language: there are timbres, sound pictures, color tones, loud colors, shrill colors, dark voices, light voices, musical compositions, color compositions.
This year’s concerts in Langenbruck, Switzerland invites you to enjoy the acoustic and visual facets of these commonalities.
