A bicycle accident a year ago and the corona crisis have, in a way, been helpful in inspiring and igniting my most recent creative expression.

I switched partly to small formats, and started using acrylic pencils; and began drawing spontaneously without knowing what would come out.

I often start with writing a word or a term in big letters on a piece of paper, and then let its energy guide me while I play with lines and colours. This became a kind of meditation for me.

These last few years, while working and facilitating at the ‘painting place’, the Malort in Munich (ateet2.wixsite.com), I had the opportunity to go deeper into non-judging and non-interpreting.

A friend and I have been leading ‘colourplay’ groups there, we call them Farbspiele, for children and adults. The aim is to offer the possibility to indulge in creative expression with spontaneity, without instruction, without judgment, and without interpretation…
