At the end of last month, precisely on the 26th, Saturn moved from Gate 55 to Gate 37. We are still in the sign of Pisces and in the Solar Plexus (also called the Emotional Centre) but the atmosphere is totally different. If Gate 55, Abundance, was all about the individual and their emotional and/or artistic and poetic expression, then Gate 37, Family, as its very name says, is all about the tribe to which we belong, be it our blood family or a community that gathers around shared values, creating meaningful bonds.
Saturn will take us for a couple of months (until 12 March to be precise) on a journey that will ask us to review our most intimate relationships, not necessarily the romantic ones. Even when referring to life partners, we do not mean those who we might consider ‘the love of my life’, and still think of with nostalgia though not seen for years, but rather those who are still present, like our current partners or perhaps just our exes. The review may also concern our family of origin or the family we have created. Or the group of people who form our support network. Or the absence of all of the above.
Saturn is such that we will have to come to terms with what we have perhaps pretended not to see or ignored for years, but which now demands our attention or even rendered justice.
To reinforce the theme, from 10 to 13 February, Sun and Mercury will form the Channel of Sensitivity, 49-19, which belongs to the tribal circuit (exactly like Gate 37 we have mentioned earlier), with Gate 49, Revolution, also positioned in the Solar Plexus. These will be intense days, in which everything will revolve around the needs of people around us.
From 14 to 22 February, we will also see Channel 30-41, Recognition, with Gate 30, Desire, once again in the Solar Plexus, where the Sun will also transit: in Gate 55 (from 19 to 24 February) and then moving to Gate 37.
As is often the case at this time of year, there is a lot of energy in the Emotional Centre. It is perhaps also for this reason that for many animals it is mating season: it’s impossible not to feel that ‘fizz’ that inevitably leads to Spring… But we will talk about that in our next issue!
