Our beloved Sannyasin friend and longtime disciple of Osho died in Arizona on May 31, 2024 under hospice care. Sohana lived for a few years on Maui, Hawaii but for many more years in Bali in a community with many Sannyasin friends. She was very creative and made beautiful jewelry (Visionary jewels). Many friends visited her in Bali over the years. Sohana’s son, Zain, lives in Arizona with his wife, Jen and his two sons, Zayden and Alex. He was with her when she passed and lived close by for the last five years.

Ma Nirava Sohana (Silent Gratefulness) was a Reiki Master and kinesiology practitioner as well as a jewelry designer. She was originally from the States but traveled widely, first living in India, then she made her home on the magical island of Bali, from where she traveled the world lecturing about gemstone therapy, teaching kinesiology classes and exhibiting her jewelry. During these exhibitions, she demonstrated the empowering effect of gemstones using kinesiology. When she became ill, she moved back to the States for care and also to be closer to her family.

Many memories are floating to the surface of wonderful shared moments with dear Sohana when I lived in the same compound in Bali for some time, in fact in the house right next to hers. A precious and fun soul she was with so many healing skills and a pool of creativity designing gorgeous jewellery.

May your spirit merge deeply into the unknowable, dearest Sohana.
