Mumbai’s first exclusive Osho bookstore, “Osho Glimpse,” launched with Padma Shri Anup Jalota and Rekha Bhardwaj in attendance. Both artists shared their personal connections to Osho’s teachings, highlighting his inspirational and transformative impact on their lives and careers. The event featured a soulful performance by Bhardwaj and readings from Osho’s works.
MUMBAI: The city witnessed the launch of “Osho Glimpse,” Mumbai’s first exclusive bookstore featuring the works of the iconic spiritual master Osho. The event was graced by Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota and National Award-winning singer Rekha Bhardwaj.
Enthusiastic readers and fans attended the ceremony, many purchasing Osho’s books and receiving autographs from the distinguished guests. Rekha Bhardwaj mesmerised the gathering with a soulful performance of her renowned Sufi song “Tere Ishq Mein.” Both Anup Jalota and Rekha Bhardwaj delighted attendees by reading selected passages from Osho’s writings, emphasising the transformative power, inspiration, and philosophical depth of his thoughts.
Speaking at the occasion, Anup Jalota shared his personal connection with Osho, stating: “My family and I have been deeply connected to Osho for decades. His teachings are vast; his books inspire and offer new ways of seeing life. I read and listen to Osho every day.” He fondly recalled his many interactions with Osho, highlighting the guru’s immense literary output and impact on his own spiritual journey.
Rekha Bhardwaj also expressed her admiration for Osho’s teachings, noting that the practice of meditation and self-awareness inspired by Osho has brought her peace and growth in her career. She added, “Osho showed me the path of Sufi music and spirituality. His books and words enrich my life in countless ways.” She described Osho’s Ashram as her spiritual home, a place she returns to every year for the Monsoon Festival.
“Osho Glimpse” promises to be a vibrant space for seekers to explore Osho’s philosophy, pick up beautifully designed books, and experience the spiritual legacy that continues to inspire millions worldwide.
