Under the motto ‘Meditate. Dance. Celebrate. Be Alive’, the festival offers an opportunity to take three days off from the usual routine, disconnect from the internet and devices, and immerse oneself in meditation, music, dance, celebration and awareness – all in the spirit of Osho.

“It’s the largest gathering of friends of Osho in France. Many sannyasins come, as well as new people who are just discovering Osho. The facilitators and musicians are all connected in some way to Osho, and the three days revolve around his meditations and teachings. I am always moved to see how people are touched by this place… by the magic of Osho. It really feels like a buddhafield,” writes Dhyan Pascal.

The Osho Festival in France was created in 2019 by Dhyan Pascal and Khirad, and has been held annually – just with one exception – at the Osho meditation centre, Home Shanti Home, located in Haute-Provence.

For Khirad, the festival grew out of his experience at the Osho Resort in Pune. “I loved being in the Osho Commune – the quality of the silence, the spirit of celebration. It’s something unique. We wanted to recreate something of that experience here, around meditation and Osho’s vision.”

There will be a variety of meditations – including Osho Dynamic and Kundalini – as well as Evening Meetings, dance, music, and workshops run by facilitators and teachers inspired by Osho’s work, but also moments to just be together. For those who feel the call, there will also be an opportunity to take sannyas.

This year, Dhyan Pascal invited Prem Joshua, a long-time friend and one of the leading artists of World Music and Fusion. “Prem Joshua is at the top of his art. He has so much Osho in him. I feel a lot of gratitude, and I wanted to share this with everyone,” he writes. The band will be joining the festival with a special concert, morning satsang and a closing ceremony.

Prem Joshua will be accompanied by Sanou Olszewski, whose enchanting voice brings Indian mantras to life through her singing, tampura and ukulele. Special guest Sargam will delight the audience with his oud, sitar, guitar and bouzouki, in his concert and other musical events. Together they will create a vibrant fusion of Indian ragas, modern rhythms and world music – music that touches the soul and will make everybody want to dance!

Home Shanti Home is located in the south of France, in the beautiful region of Haute-Provence and the Luberon, within 20 hectares of land and wild forest. If you have been following the news about the heat and wildfires this summer, no need to worry: Home Shanti Home is surrounded by lush greenery (and lavender fields) and is located at an altitude of 850 metres, where the climate is generally cooler and more refreshing, even during the summer months.

During these three festival days, the participants can move between meditation and celebration, silence and music, and inner exploration, or simply enjoy these natural surroundings. There are many spaces to meditate, meet and hang out. Among them, a saltwater swimming pool, a bar area, and a library with many books by Osho. Perhaps this is what makes this festival so special: there is no need to separate meditation from celebration, or chilling out!

Although most activities are announced in French, the festival has an international flavour. Many of the meditations and workshops are experiential and therefore easy to follow, even without speaking French.

The festival pass gives access to all activities, including the various meditation techniques, workshops, dance and live concerts, allowing everybody to create their own experience and choose what resonates most with them.

The dates for the three-day festival are: 11–13 September 2026. The festival begins on Friday at 2 pm and ends on Sunday around 5 pm. Accommodation is available on site, including camping, shared rooms and double rooms.
