This book is touching, soft, and, in its writing style, workmanlike. A practical, down-to-earth Scotswoman who has a career in community education suddenly is visited by a voice belonging to a dog – and she had always feared and disliked dogs. Soon afterwards she meets the dog’s owner, and then the dog – and slowly slowly, astonished and bewildered, she finds a new life opening up for her – of communicating with animals. We meet dogs, cats, and plenty of horses, and a bird or two – and go on a very esoteric journey.
I was interested to read about her techniques, which are very like human ones I have used. And I did get one technique out of it for myself – I used it just last night, when I woke up and couldn’t sleep… It is a beautiful technique, for meeting and communicating with your own animal guardian. I’m going to transcribe it separately.
My own opinion is that there are not nearly enough animal psychics in the world – we really need as many as we can get. I am sure there are many people who naturally have this talent and just need a bit of training and encouragement.
When I lived in the Midwest and our old cat was struggling and pooing everywhere and had to be banished to the garage – it was heartbreaking; whatever the vet suggested didn’t work, and I longed to be able to consult such a Sensitive. At the time I could not find any way to locate one… we were surrounded by American flags and buttoned-up houses. So in this book it was great to read that this practitioner works best remotely. I might contact her to see how that kitty is doing in the afterlife…
Ms Le Blanc looks into such things!
