Kaiyum’s solution to use up leftover ingredients.

Leftovers

Ingredients

onion
sweet red pepper
red chilli pepper
ginger
large courgette
carrot
peas
peteh beans
lotus nuts
asparagus
black soya beans
tempeh
curry paste, bouillon powder, water

Preparation

For added flavour in this dish, you might want to fry the tempeh first, separately.
This creation was the colourful result of clearing out lots of leftovers like half a red pepper, an oversized courgette fresh from the kitchen garden … and throwing in things like a handful of peas from the freezer.

As Gusteau says to Remy: “I am only as free as you imagine me to be.”
The ghost of Gusteau plays a valuable part in Remy’s adventures and reminds us of the simple power of the imagination … what you let yourself create with the ingredients available.
